Is Feng Shui an either-takes-it-all-or-nothing thing?

Feng Shui Consultant Naples Florida Jun Feng Shui

We’ve got some feedbacks regarding our recent Instagram posts on which we’d like to share some of our thoughts with you today.

Regarding “If possible, avoid living near swamps or stagnant ponds” and “If possible, avoid living near buildings associated with illness, death and decay”, some have commented “That eliminate Florida and NYC”.

There are two angles to think about it:

#1 - Feng Shui is intended to be integrated, not followed.

There is no 100% good Feng Shui. You can’t mark ✔️ on all your Feng Shui to-do list and it is almost impossible for anybody to do so. On the other hand, Feng Shui is not meant to achieve it anyway. That’s why we “integrate” Feng Shui. We don’t “follow”. You and me we all have different tastes, needs, limitations…depending on individual, integrate Feng Shui principles as much as you could, and only those that resonate with you personally. Even if you have integrated just a few, you have already avoided some destructive energy from your living environment. Feng Shui is not an either-take-it-all-or-nothing thing.

#2 - Optimize your living environment with what you have and what you can get is the value of our Feng Shui work.

When it comes to our happiness and well-being, we can not put focus on just one area of our life. Similarly, when it comes to evaluating Feng Shui, we need to put into consideration all aspects, not just one or two. Balance, is what we are trying to achieve in Feng Shui. With what you have and what you can get, helping you optimize your living environment is the value of our Feng Shui work.

Feng Shui is an art of living in harmony with our environment. It is a scientific study that has developed for more than three thousand years. It is not a religion. It is not a style of a house. It is not specific to the Chinese.

While integrating with your personal tastes and needs, Jun Feng Shui uses authentic Feng Shui theories and applicable concepts to help you select a lot, build or renovate a house, choose a home and create a balanced and supportive living environment. We work with home owners, architects, builders and designers. To learn more about our services, please visit www.naplesfengshui.com.
